Two day action packed itinerary
Day 2 - Get up and have a cup of coffee as you relax on your private deck or in the main deck awaiting the possible arrival of the local resident moose and eagles. Breakfast begins at 8:30ish. You will dine with fellow guests and enjoy a delectable full hot breakfast home cooked by your hosts. Then, head out on one of the many day trips the Homer area has to offer; sea kayaking, 4-wheeling, flight seeing, bear viewing in nearby Katmai National Park, hiking in Homer or water taxi across the bay to hike in Kachemak Bay State Park among the beautiful glaciers and Kenai Mountains, fly/boat to Seldovia to take in a nearby village. After your adventure of the day, enjoy the beautiful views of the Homer spit, spend more time in downtown Homer, or just enjoy the view from your room or private deck. After a good night's rest wake up to a delicious hot breakfast before hitting the road. |

Day 1 - Arrive in Homer early enough enjoy downtown Homer; shop the local art galleries and visit the local history museum, The Pratt Museum or The Islands & Ocean Visitor Center, a wildlife refuge interpretive center. In the afternoon, be at the Homer Marina by 4:30 pm to embark on an evening cruise across beautiful Kachemak Bay where you can dine at one of the tasty and unique restaurants like the Saltry or the Rookery. Return to the Homer Marina around 9:30 pm and head up to Victorian Heights for a restful nights sleep.
